2nd Cyclone Hits Mozambique

Houses flattened by Cyclone

Six weeks after the deadly Cyclone Idai hit Mozambique a 2nd Disastrous Cyclone, Kenneth, blasted the country with the force of a Category 4 hurricane.

For the first time in recorded history the nation has been suffered from two of the worst cyclones in a season.

Raging flood waters, resulting from 100mm of rain in 24 hours, have cut roads to Pemba City

The government have estimated 160,000 people are at risk, with more torrential rain forecast.

Local report are that there has been ‘total devastation’ affecting 60 kilometer stretch of coastline and nearby islands.
