Disaster Aid Australia CEO Brian Ashworth is currently in Bhutan reviewing the SkyHydrant installations completed in the last few years.
This is an important part of the ‘Safe Water for Every Child’ project ensuring the SkyHydrants are a sustainable long term solution to unsafe water.
The Operators role, in being diligent in carrying out the daily cleaning, is vital in ensuring the maximum life of the first filter membrane.
To help motivate operators Brian always makes sure he gets a photograph with the operator and makes sure they understand that the role makes them one of the most important people in the school.
