Our new Partner ‘Safe Water for Every Child-Philippines’ has been busy visiting Barangays in Mindanao for site assessments.
Community consultation is a key part of the assessment in order to achieve a sustainable long term solution.

There are meetings with the community to explain how the SkyHydrant works and what needs to be done to make sure it is looked after. properly.
Following this a SkyHydrant is temporarily set up to demonstrate the unit and check that the water is suitable for filtration.

As you can see from the below photograph the SkyHydrant can make a major difference to the quality of the water.

Once we are certain that the community is happy with the improvement, and is committed to doing their part of the project, we can move on to planning a permanent installation.
