Help Children for World Water Day

March 22nd is the United Nations sponsored World Water Day.

A day to think about the millions round the world who don’t have access to safe drinking water,

We are asking people to help us raise funds in March so more chidren can get access to safe drinking water.

To see the difference our SkyHydrants have made to children in Bhutan schools you can watch this video.

SkyHydrants to Timor

This Tuesday the first SkyHydrants went off to Timor-Leste (East Timor).

As SkyJuice founder, Rhett Butler, was visiting our office he was ‘volunteered’ to help DAA chair Peter Faulkner load them.

Timor Leste Training

Disaster Aid Australia are working to increase our ‘Safe Water for Every Child’ program in Timor-Leste.

To ensure sustainable operations of our SkyHydrants we are committed to training.

During the first week of January we ran a training course for Jacinto Araujo Da Silva from the Ossu community.

Jacinto’s visit was sponsored by WH WASH Consultants, one of our newest partners.

Training involved all aspects of the installation, and operation of a SkyHydrant.

Disasters Don’t Have A Holiday

Just because it is Christmas Holidays doesn’t mean disasters stop happening.

On Boxing Day severe rainfall, causing major floods, hit the island of Mindanao in the Phillipines.

Our Local partner Balay Mindanaw are already co-ordinating with emergency authorities.

They are also arranging immediate deployment of DAA supplied SkyHydrantsunits to Misamis Oriental and Misamis Occidental to address the urgent need for safe drinking water.
